In this tutorial I will show you how to create a fantastic landscape with a few photos and their own hands. The combination of the two themes - the sea and space gives a very interesting result.
The photos that we'll need:
sea-http://NiPaZu.deviantart.com/
sky-http://electribe.deviantart.com/
planets-http://faei.deviantart.com/;http://moon_media.deviantart.com/;http://ezkexis.deviantart.com/
Step 1.
Let's start with the size of your canvas. First, the vertical position. Second, the images that we will use for our collage will help us to determine the size of the work.
Step 2.
Cut out a section of the image with the sea and put it on the canvas.
Step 3.
Take the sky with the other pictures. Let's put it on the list and using the Eraser Tool carefully Adjust the edges of the two images.
Step 4.
Some details were lost on the horizon. Try to add the mountains on the horizon. Place a layer of hills between the layers of the sky and the sea (the layer of the sea should be the top, so it will hide the foot of the mountain).
Step 5.
Using the Burn Tool darkening mountains. we'll darken mountains. The settings for the Burn Tool: Range-Shadow, Exposure-50%.
Step 6.
You can increase the exposure setting to 70% and darken the top of the water (use a large, soft brush).
Step 7.
Reduce the exposure to 60% and darken the lower part of the sky. Work carefully so as not to hurt the cloud.
Step 8.
Now reduce the brush size and change the value in the Range Midtones. With a flick of conduct goriontalnuyu line (hold CTRL) and darken the bottom of the mountain.
Step 9.
Now go to the sky. Put in our file photo of the planet. With the Eraser Tool remove all unnecessary, because clouds are closer to us, and through them, but should not be visible.
Step 10.
Change the blending mode of the layer with the planet to Screen, Fill = 100%.
Step 11.
The upper right corner seems rustic. Put there a small planet.
Step 12.
Change the layer mode to this planet to Screen, Fill: 100%.
Step 13.
Now change the color of the mountains: take the brush and brush set the blending mode to color, color - dark blue, close to black.
Step 14.
In the settings you set the layer Fill = 50%, to the mountains became a little transparent.
Step 15.
Add one more very small planet. Then place it over a large planet in order to make it look even smaller and closer to us.
Step 16.
Change the blend mode to Screen, Fill: 100%. Using the Burn Tool (Range - midtones, Exposure - 50%), we darken the upper and lower parts of the sky.
Step 17.
Increase the value of Exposure to 60% and make the water a bit darker.
Step 18.
We'll return to Fill the layer with mountains at 100%, it was more convenient for us to work with.
Step 19.
Take the Eraser Tool and hold "ctrl", draw a horizontal line at the junction water and mountains. Now take the Smudge Tool and gently smudge the cloud (short horizontal movements).
Step 20.
So, the mountain is somewhat out of the picture. They are not detailed enough. We can fix this using the Sharpen Tool.
Step 21.
Reduce the Fill layer with mountains up to 85%
Step 22.
Using the Smudge Tool mountain a little smudge (horizontal movements!).
Step 23.
Again, we take the same brush of dark blue color, transparency 20% and paint over layers of the planets (do this on a new layer).
Step 24.
Take the Eraser Tool and clean up all the excess (those parts, buyout are in the clouds and not be visible).
Step 25.
Take the Dodge Tool (Range - highlights, Exposure - 100%) and lighten some parts of the mountains. One brush stroke will be enough for the desired effect.
Step 26.
Now take the Blur Tool, hold "ctrl", gorizontalnyyu hold the line along the mountains, a little distorting them.
Step 27.
With the Eraser Tool will do the bottom of the mountain is slightly transparent.
Step 28.
Between the layer and the layer of the sea to the mountains, add a new layer on it beruyu draw a horizontal line, a thickness of about 5-6 pixels. Then the Smudge Tool transform it into the fog.
Step 29.
Now take the Dodge Tool (Range-midtones, Exposure-50%) and make lighter upper part of the water in our picture.
Step 30.
Now is the time to work on the quality of our collage. It is most convenient to do with the whole picture. Therefore maintain our collage format jpg, and then open it again in Photoshop. First, change the brightness (-15) and contrast (+5) - this can be done using the menu Image-Adjustments-Brightness / Contrast.
Step 31.
Then press "ctrl" + "B" and vastavlyaem settings as in the screenshot below:
In the menu Image-Adjustments-Brightness / Contrasts and Shadow / Highlights exhibit the following:
Step 32.
Again, take the Dodge Tool (Range-Highlights, Exposure-18%) and will make some parts of the sky lighter. Then add the star. You can use a standard brush of small size. Draw them all over the sky, excluding the areas where they should not be visible.
So we're done. Use your imagination. I hope the lesson was interesting you .
