Text-alloy special effect
1. Create a new document 500x500 with a black background
2. Create a new layer and write there the text in orange
3. Create another layer and make the foreground colour - black and background colour - white (or press D)
4. filter> render> clouds
5. filter> sketch> chrome with the following parameters:
detail = 4
smoothmess = 6
6. Change the blend mode of this layer (blending mode) to colour dodge
7. We turn to the text layer and rasterize it (right-click on the layer name> Rasterize)
8. Dublirum this layer 3 times (we now have 4 of the text layer between the first layer and a layer of chromium)
9. Go to the third layer (second from the bottom text layer) and apply to it filter> blur> motion blur with parameters:
angle = 0
distance = 100
10. Go to the fourth layer (third from the bottom text layer) and apply it to filter> blur> motion blur with the following parameters:
angle = -45
distance = 100
11. Proceed to the fifth layer, the upper layer with the text and apply it to filter> blur> motion blur with parameters:
angle = 45
distance = 100
We get the following result:
12. Merge text layers by going to the upper layer with the text and pressing 3 times Ctrl + E. Now we have three layers: the first - the black, the second - the text-melting and third - chrome
13. We turn to the text layer and filter> blur> gaussian blur (radius = 3)
14. Press Ctrl + U (hue / saturation), select colorize and select the sliders good color
15. Create a new layer between the text and the layer with black chrome and write the same text. Now we have 4 layers
16. Change the opacity of the upper layer with the text by 60%
17. You can play with the Ctrl + M, Ctrl + C and Ctrl + L to get better results
