Colorful Light Text Effect
Materials for lesson:

Step 1.
Create a document, 1024 * 768 px, background color = black. Using the tool Horizontal Type Tool (T) write the text of your choice, font - Thick Deco (link given at the beginning of the lesson), font color - # fff43e, font size = 250px. If you have a few words, then create each word on a separate layer, and then select all the layers with the words in the Layers palette and merge them into a group by pressing Ctrl + G. Name the group "original text".
Now select the entire group and drag it to the icon "New Layer", as shown in the figure. Then right click on the new duplicated group -> Merge Group:
Step 2.
Let's return to the group of "original text". Double click on any of the layers -> Blending Options and set the following settings:
Outer Glow:
color = # fff43e
Range = 100
Inner Glow:
color = # fff43e
Size = 10
Range = 60
Press OK and change the Fill layer with which you worked to 0:
Now we need to copy the layer settings for all other layers with words. To do this - right click on the layer to which you have worked -> Copy Layer Style. Then press Shift + click and select all the layers in such a way with words without dropping highlight, right click on any of the layers -> Paste Layer Style:
Here's what you should get if you turn off the image is duplicated group from Step 1 - by default you should be called "original text copy" (click on the eye icon in the Layers icon next to the layer):
Step 3.
Then - right click on the layer "original text copy" -> Blending Options and set the following settings:
Inner Glow: Leave the default settings:
Bevel and Emboss:
Depth = 225
Size = 2
Gloss Contour = Valley - Low (this circuit you need to create yourself by clicking on the icon path)
Anti - aliased = tick
Contour:
Anti - aliased = tick
Now click OK and reduce the layer's Fill "original text copy" to 0:
Step 4.
Change the foreground color to white, create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N) on top of all layers and call it "Sparkles". Load the brush, which reference is made in the beginning of the lesson, and then brush marked in the illustration. The author uses a brush size of about 35 pixels. draw a glare on your text as shown in the figure below:
Now duplicate the layer (Ctrl + J) "Sparkles" 2 times, one of the layers name "Vertical Blur", another - "Horizontal blur":
Select the layer "Vertical Blur" and select Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur:
Angle = 90
Distance = 135px
Now go to the layer "Horizontal Blur" - again, select Filter -> Blur -> Motion Blur:
Angle = 0
Distance = 135px
Step 5.
Now add the colors. For this slozdayte a new layer on top of all layers and name it "color" and change the Blend Mode to Color. Select tool Brush Tool (B) - a soft brush (hardness = 0), size = about 250px
Choose a different color that you like and draw here are the colored spots (you can change the mode of the layer Blend mode "color" from "Color" to "Normal", to see what you do)
Blend mode = "Normal":
After you are done with spots, change the Blend mode to "Color".
The final result!
