Quick Tip: Create Liquid Filled Glass Text in Photoshop
So it will look like the result of either:
Step 1
Create a new document 1500x1000px.
Grab the Gradient Tool (G). Use the settings as the image below.
Fill the background with a linear gradient from the bottom up.
Step 2
Grab the Type Tool (T) and write the text size - 300 px, color # dbdbdb.
Font - "Cooper Std". You can of course choose any other font of your choice.
Duplicate the text layer, and rename both layers as shown in the screenshot (Ctrl + J).
Step 3
Double-click on the bottom text layer. Apply the settings:

Set the Fill = 0 for the top text layer.
Double-click it, and then apply the settings
Step 5
Grab the "Rectangle Tool" (U). Make a rectangular selection.
Set the color of the rectangle = # aa4280. Place it between two text layers.
Step 6
Select the tool "Add Anchor Point Tool" (P).
Add a point as shown in the image below.
Step 7
After adding the points grab the "Direct Selection Tool" (A). And some point to move up or down.
You can also use the tool "Delete Anchor Point Tool" (P), to remove the extra point, as long as you do not like the result.
Step 8
Right-click on the layer - "Rasterize Layer".Hold down Ctrl and click on the text layer. Then press Ctrl + Shift + I and then press Delete.
Step 9
Double-click on the layer and apply the settingsStep 10
Hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and click the first text layer to load the selection of the text.
Go to the menu Select - Inverse (Ctrl + Shift + I) and press the keyboard Delete.
Now that almost everything is done you can change the color of the liquid.
Navigate to the Hue / Saturation (Ctrl + U) check the box next Colorize.
And change the color of your choice.
